Event

The OMR Ultra 24 Hour Challenge is scheduled for October 31, 2025 in Mint Hill, North Carolina. The event is held at Mint Hill Park on Wilgrove, 7750 Jim Harper Ln, Mint Hill, NC 28227. Race formats include:

  • 24 Hour Individual
  • 24 Hour Team Relay (2–6 runners)

Course and logistics

The event uses a loop course of approximately 1.5 miles per lap. The surface combines crushed gravel, wooded singletrack, and grass. The start is at the trailhead at the northwest corner of the park parking lot; the finish timing line is located slightly before exiting the trail onto the south side of the parking lot. The parking lot serves as the central hub, with space for crew setups, personal tents, and vehicle access. The loop does not fully close on itself, so GPS devices may record a different distance than the official lap count. Only full laps recorded between the official start and finish timing lines count toward each participant’s total.

Aid, swag, and awards

One main aid station will be adjacent to the parking lot. On-course offerings include water, electrolyte drink, warm broth, energy gels, and rotating hot food items. All participants receive a finisher medal and an event shirt. Distance-based awards include a custom belt buckle for 100+ mile finishers and a special medal for 100K (62.2 miles) finishers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
