Once Upon A Run 5k takes place on Sunday, February 8, 2026, in Denton, Texas (ZIP 76207). The event is organized as an all-female 5k and includes a separate Little Princess Run for children. The first 200 signups receive a custom, race-themed bib.
Race details
Entry fees listed are $25.50 for the Once Upon A Run Magical Miles 5k and $12.50 for the Little Princess Run. Registration for the Little Princess Run closes on February 8, 2026; the 5k registration price increases after November 3, 2025. Packet pick-up is available on race day.
The Little Princess Run registration includes an official race bib and a finisher medal; a child must be wearing their bib to receive the medal. A child who wants to run the 5k must be registered under the 5k event. Age-group awards for the 5k are awarded three deep in the following divisions: 0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80+. Awards will not be shipped. Volunteers are requested for water stations, cheer squads, and course support. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
