Logistics, services and policies

Packet pickup and same-day registration are handled at Wilson Lodge. Parking next to Wilson Lodge is reserved for staff and volunteers; event parking is organized in a one-way, counter-clockwise loop serving a baseball field and several pavilions. Participants are asked not to park on the course, on the main park road, or in small lots reserved for other visitors.

Friday options include tent or vehicle camping near the lodges, use of park campsites or cabins by separate arrangement, and casual Friday evening social activities. Post-race provisions include food and beverages, hand-made burritos, beer, fruit and snacks, and athlete support from a physical therapy provider at the finish. Giveaways include a long-sleeve shirt and a branded pint glass. Awards are planned for overall male and female finishers on the long and short courses and for random participants. The event uses a single price with no increases and allows distance switching, transfers, deferrals, and refunds without fees; specific refund and deferral deadlines are set in advance. The Race Director may disqualify participants for abusive behavior, littering or trail damage, receiving aid outside designated areas, pacing by non-participants, or course-cutting. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
