Event overview
The Oregon Trail Game® 5K takes place on May 23, 2026, in Oregon City, Oregon. The event is the 8th annual running of the themed race, produced this year by the Oregon City Schools Foundation, with all proceeds benefiting Oregon City Schools. The race is based on the 1980s computer game The Oregon Trail and gives participants both a timed finish and a separate game score based on decisions made during the event. The course runs through historic Downtown Oregon City.

The Kids' Fun Run is open to ages 12 and under and is untimed. The 5K had online registration closed at the time shown; there are 18 race-day registration slots available for the 5K on a first-come, first-served basis. The 5K entry fee was listed as $45 and the Kids' Fun Run fee as $0. Race fees include a shirt for entrants who registered before May 1.
