The race provides color-coded swim caps, number bibs, a timing chip, and a Restube for solo racers. Mandatory gear may be checked and missing items can lead to disqualification. Teams must stay together on the marked course and follow litter rules. Water stops have at least two coolers: one with water and one with electrolyte-infused water, and most stops offer gels. Awards for top finishers are handed out as winners cross the finish line. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
