About the race
Outback in the Ozarks is an overnight team endurance relay held in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. The course spans about 205 miles with 36 rugged legs, starting in Eureka Springs and winding through the Ozark National Forest and five state parks before finishing at Prairie Grove Battlefield State Park. Teams can enter Ultra Teams (4, 5, or 6 runners), Standard Teams (7–12), Connect Teams (6), Connect Individual (1), and a 65‑mile Relay (4–6).
Expect a camaraderie‑driven, high‑energy atmosphere as runners, supporters, and sleep deprivation battle through the Ozarks’ backroads—a memorable, shared adventure rather than just a race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
