Pacific Crest Trail 50 (PCT 50) is a 50-mile out-and-back trail race in Cleveland National Forest, east San Diego County, California. It’s part of the SoCal Ultra Grand Prix Series. The mostly single-track route follows the Pacific Crest Trail with significant climbs, beginning near 3,000 feet and topping around 6,000 feet, for about 7,500 feet of total elevation gain.

The course offers spectacular desert and mountain views, and a series of fully stocked aid stations (Tailwind at each stop). Pacers are allowed from Penny Pines; crews access Penny Pines; Per’s Cabin is an aid stop reached by trail. The event emphasizes a spirited trail-running atmosphere.
