The Pacifico Ultra is a trail running event in the Angeles National Forest near Palmdale, CA. It offers two distances:
- 50k Ultra
- 21k Trail
The event is produced by SoCalTrail and takes place on routes around Pacifico Mountain and the Silver Moccasin Trail. The race site is at Mill Creek Summit and the Pony Park Day Use Area with off-site parking and shuttle service operating between the park-and-ride and the race site.
Course, support and awards
The courses start near 5,000 feet elevation with most miles between about 5,600 and 7,100 feet. The 50k is listed as 31.8 miles with 5,621 feet of vertical gain and a 10-hour time limit. The half distance is listed with 2,510 feet of gain. Aid stations are located along the 50k at miles 6.8, 10.9, 14.6 (drop bags), 20.4, 26.1 and the finish; the half has an aid station at mile 7.0. The event is cupless. Provided services include multiple aid stations, course photography, finish-line food and coffee, sports massage, medical support and same-day results. Overall and age-group awards are given for both distances; the 50k includes a $500 course record bonus and top finishers earn Sterling Silver Tickets for guaranteed entry into the Angeles Crest 100 Mile.
