PAD Awareness 5K

PAD Awareness 5K, hosted by PAD Specialists, is a family-friendly event in Edinburg, Texas, at Edinburg Municipal Park (714 S Raul Longoria Rd). It features a 5K race plus Awareness Walks for adults and children, designed to raise Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) awareness and reduce amputation rates in the Rio Grande Valley. The morning program includes physician guest speakers, including a vascular surgeon, plus food, vendors, fall-themed coffees, music, and a pumpkin patch photo op.

Participants receive a custom shirt (if registered by Sept 7) and age-group awards; the 5K is chip-timed by HogRacing. Packet pickup is available prior to race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
