Event overview
The Pain In Green Lane 25K and 50K takes place on November 1, 2025, at Morrow Pavilion in Green Lane Park, Green Lane, PA. There are three event options:
- 25k - one full loop around the reservoir
- 50k - two loops of the 25k course
- 25K RUCK WITH WEIGHT - pack weight: under 150 lb 20 lb, over 150 lb 30 lb
Entry fees listed on the organizer page are $95 for the 25k and ruck, and $115 for the 50k. The deadline to be guaranteed a race shirt is October 17.
Course, support and logistics
The course circles the lake and reservoir and uses mixed surfaces: paved path, single-track with roots and rock, packed gravel, and some mulch. The route begins and finishes at the Morrow Pavilion and includes several minor stream crossings, wooded single-track, paved connector sections, and a dam crossing. Aid stations: three stations at roughly six-mile intervals, with possible additional water stations depending on weather. The event is cupless, so participants must bring their own cup or bottle. Participants must complete their distance within an eight-hour limit. Facilities include parking near the start area, port-a-potties at the start and at parking areas on course, finish-line food, and a variety of drinks and snacks at aid stations.
