About the race
Paint the Downtown 5k, in Plainview, Texas (108 E 7th, Plainview, TX 79072), offers a 5k FunRun and a 1-Mile option. Organized by the Broadway Brew Coffeehouse, it uses the same route as last year, creating a community-friendly atmosphere around downtown Plainview. The event is described as one of the few—perhaps the only—5k in the county, adding local flair.
Packet pickup occurs at the Broadway Brew the evening before the race. Early sign-ups are rewarded with a 2025 Paint the Downtown shirt, while standard sign-ups also include a shirt if registered by the cutoff. The event is scheduled for Saturday, October 11, 2025.
