About the race
Panting Four Paws is a charity running and walking event held at Lippold Park in Crystal Lake, Illinois. Participants choose between a 5K or a 10K course—the 5K is a single loop and the 10K is two loops around the park. The event embraces a “Be Their Superhero” theme, encouraging runners and walkers to dress as their favorite superhero, with a prize for the best costume.
Proceeds benefit Helping Paws Animal Shelter and support Phase 2 renovations to improve care space. After the race, attendees enjoy post-race refreshments, and an awards ceremony recognizes overall and age-group winners. Registration also supports fundraising efforts for the shelter.
