Pearls of Hope 5k

The 17th Pearls of Hope 5k takes place in Rockford Park, Wilmington, Delaware. The event offers a 5K Run/Walk with a Walking 5K option (participants must walk). The course runs through Rockford Park, with a route map online.

Notable features include tee shirts for the first 150 registrants, post-race refreshments, and an auction with prizes. Proceeds support New Castle County Community Projects such as the Salvation Army, Urban Promise, YMCA, ADA, AHA, and the Alzheimer’s Association. Timing is chip-based via MYLAPS, with awards for overall finishers, age groups, walkers, and the largest team.
