Pearls of Hope 5k

The 17th Pearls of Hope 5k is a running and walking event held at Rockford Park in Wilmington, Delaware. Participants can choose between a 5K run/walk or a competitive walking 5K, with a special category for children 12 and under. The race features chip timing using the MYLAPS BibTag system and offers awards for top finishers across various age groups and categories.

Amenities include t-shirts for the first 150 registrants, post-race refreshments, and an auction with prizes. The event supports New Castle County community projects and is sponsored by the Pearls of Hope Foundation and local Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority chapters.
