The Peavine Peak Hill Climb is a challenging 9.4-mile race held in Reno, Nevada, featuring a total elevation gain of 3,018 feet. Starting at Melton Elementary School, runners navigate access roads and neighborhood trails before ascending Chalk Canyon via singletrack. The course then tackles a steep, rocky ATV trail up Tower Ridge to the summit of Peavine Peak.
After crossing the summit, participants descend 2.4 miles on smooth dirt roads to an aid station, then retrace their steps back to the start.
