16th Annual Pecan Classic 10K and 5K Run/Walk
The event takes place on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Green Valley Pecan Company, 1625 E. Sahuarita Rd., Sahuarita, AZ 85629. The program includes two distances.

Race details
The 10K follows dirt roads through pecan orchards. The 5K is an out-and-back course with a turnaround at 1.55 miles. The course does not allow dogs and is baby jogger friendly. There will be limited drinking water on the course and water bottles at the start/finish area. The event is USATF sanctioned and uses chip timing.
Features listed by the organizer include a pancake breakfast, snacks and water, and awards: unique awards for 1st overall and 1st masters in the 10K, gift certificates for the top three overall and masters in both races, and age-group awards for the top three finishers in each race. A free T-shirt is guaranteed for registrations received by 10/21/25; a 50/50 T-shirt is also guaranteed with that registration date. Early entry is listed at $40 and increases to $45 starting 9/22/25. The event benefits the Green Valley Sahuarita Chamber Foundation and the Sahuarita High School Student Council.
