Pére Malfait Trail Race

The Pére Malfait Trail Race, taking place at Bussey Brake in Bastrop, LA, offers participants a choice of three distances: 50K, 16 miles, and 8 miles. This event celebrates local folklore, featuring the mythical Pére Malfait, a Cajun boogeyman. The racecourse includes a scenic 8-mile trail around the reservoir, suitable for hiking, biking, and horseback riding.
