The 48th Annual Peru Lions Club John P. Adams Memorial Turkey Trot takes place on Thursday, November 27, 2025, in Peru, NY 12972. The event benefits the charitable work of the Peru Lions Club. Registration closes on November 27, 2025. Bib pickup is on race morning. All activities are planned to be held outside with some weather protection provided by the bays of the Peru Central School bus garage.
Distances and entry fees
- 5k : $27.50 (includes $2.50 fee)
- 10k : $32.80 (includes $2.80 fee)
Course and awards
Both the 5k and the 10k start at Peru Central School. The race organizers note route adjustments to ensure correct distances; the 10k route was updated to include a short out-and-back on Twin Creek Drive off of Barney Downs Road. Course maps are provided for each distance.
Awards will be given to the top three men and the top three women in both the 5k and the 10k. All runners will receive Turkey Trot swag while supplies last. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
