The Philadelphia Labor Day 10K & FREE 5K takes place on Monday, 7 September 2026 at 2451 Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Philadelphia, PA 19130. The event includes distance options:

- 5K (free entry available via a lottery)
The race starts in front of the Rocky Steps at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and follows streets through the historic city center and along the Schuylkill River. The occasion also marks the launch of RunThrough USA; the 5K is offered free through a lottery process while the 10K is available through standard entry routes. A race village will provide food and drink options, warm coffee, and partner giveaways. Marshals will be on course to guide runners.
Entry and race logistics
Entry includes a unique themed medal, free race photos, chip-timed results, and post-race goodies. Entry options mentioned include paid 10K entries and a RunThrough Foundation place at a higher fee; there is also a guaranteed 5K place available for a RunThrough Foundation donation. A technical event T-shirt is offered for purchase through RunThrough Kit for $20 with the event logo.
The 5K lottery allows one entry per email address, has multiple rounds, and will automatically re-enter unsuccessful applicants into later rounds. Lottery dates include closing 13 July 2026, additional rounds through 18 August 2026, and re-allocation on 21 August 2026. Successful applicants will be notified by email.
