Philadelphia Trail Marathon
Philadelphia Trail Marathon, held in Wissahickon Valley Park in Philadelphia, offers a marathon and half-marathon on trail terrain. The 13.1-mile course is largely single-track with rolling hills, rocks, and roots; the 26.2-mile route covers similar terrain with added elevation. The atmosphere reflects trail running, with scenery and a supportive community.
Aid stations are spaced roughly 3–4 miles apart, with Gatorade and water at each stop, and timing is tracked with the Ultrasignup timing app. Bib pickup is on race day, followed by a post-race celebration with live music and pizza. Finisher medals are awarded to all, with age-group and overall prizes; finish by 4 pm.
Proceeds support Houston Playground’s educational programs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
