Pilgrim's Turkey Trot

Pilgrim's Turkey Trot is a Thanksgiving Day running event in Nacogdoches, Texas, offering a 5K and a Kids 1K Run for children 10 and under. The 5K starts and finishes at Pecan Acres Park and follows a tree-lined course, with an interactive Map My Run route available for planning. Now in its 15th year, the race supports the Nacogdoches Area United Way, benefiting local health, education, and other services.

The festive, family-friendly atmosphere features Thom Turkey on this year’s shirt design. Packet pickup is at the Nacogdoches County Chamber of Commerce, with onsite registration the morning of the race, and shirts available in multiple sizes.
