Pilgrim's Turkey Trot : Overview
The Pilgrim's Turkey Trot is a community running event held on Thursday, November 27, 2025, in Nacogdoches, TX. It is the 16th annual edition. The event takes place at Pecan Acres Park and supports the Nacogdoches Area United Way, which works with 19 community agencies in areas such as health, education, and income.

Logistics and race services
The 5K has a registration price of $35. The price increases after November 1, 2025 at 11:59 pm CDT. The Kids 1K is offered at no charge; online registration shows limited spots remaining. Packet pickup is available Wednesday, November 26 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the Nacogdoches County Chamber of Commerce, 2516 North St. Onsite registration and packet pickup are offered the morning of the race beginning at 7:30 am.
Long-sleeved race shirts are available in men's, women's, and youth styles. Size and style choices are included in registration through November 7; shirts cannot be guaranteed for registrations after that date. An interactive map of the 5K route is available online.
