Pincushion Hill Climb

Pincushion Hill Climb takes place in Friant, California, near Millerton Lake. It features two events: a 1‑mile hill climb and the Mountain Goat edition. The 1‑mile race is a straight ascent starting at the San Joaquin River Trailhead in the South Finegold Picnic Area and finishing at the top of Pincushion Mountain.

The Mountain Goat adds a longer challenge: after the first timed ascent, participants have up to four hours to complete as many trips to the peak as possible, with a longer initial descent between trips. Prizes include Top 3 male/female finishers, age-group awards, Clydesdale/Athena divisions, plus a custom finisher award and event shirt.
