Plaid to the Bone 10K
Plaid to the Bone 10K is a lumberjack-themed 10K race held in Fredericksburg, Virginia, along the scenic Rappahannock River and through Pratt Park. The fall course features rolling hills and a USATF-certified route, ideal for both competitive runners and casual participants. Participants are encouraged to wear plaid and forest-flair; suspenders or beanies are noted as part of the fun.
The event is part of the Fredericksburg Area Running Club’s Coldwell Banker Elite Grand Prix Series, with awards for top Lumberjacks and Lumberjills and age-group winners. Post-race festivities include fresh apple cider, donuts, and apples, plus a finisher medal. Parking is available at Pratt Park or nearby YMCA lot.
