Plain Endurance Runs
The Plain Endurance Runs are challenging ultramarathon events held in the Cascade Mountains near Leavenworth, Washington. The races include a 100-mile and a 100K course, featuring approximately 85 miles of trail and 20 miles of forest service roads with around 21,000 feet of elevation change. Participants must be self-supported, carrying their own food, gear, and sourcing water from creeks and rivers along the course.
The event takes place on remote USFS trails, offering stunning scenery. Proceeds benefit local Search and Rescue and veteran support groups. Qualification standards apply for the 100-mile race, requiring prior completion of similar endurance events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
