Pleasant Creek Trail Run

The Pleasant Creek Trail Run, hosted by the Eastern Iowa Trail Alliance, is an annual trail running event held in Palo, Iowa. The 2025 race offers three distances: 15K, 30K, and 45K, all run on Pleasant Creek’s scenic outer equestrian trail loop. The course features primarily dirt and grass trails with rolling hills and occasional small water crossings, providing a mix of challenge and speed potential.

Runners complete loops starting near the playground park area, running counter-clockwise with each loop returning to the start/finish line. The event fosters a friendly atmosphere with post-race cookout and beverages, awards for top finishers, and cash prizes for overall winners and record breakers.
