About the race
The Pocahontas Trail Festival is a trail running event held at Pocahontas State Park in Chesterfield, Virginia. It features a Half Marathon and a 10k race, both starting and finishing on a large grass field near the park's boat launch. The course was redesigned to emphasize trail running, incorporating new hiking trails with scenic views and good footing, especially on the Coop and Trooper Trails for the half marathon's final miles.
Aid stations are located approximately every 3 miles, and indoor bathrooms are available near the start/finish area. Participants receive professional chip timing, live results, and event swag, with awards given across multiple age groups for both men and women.
