About the race
Polar Bear Winter Classic – 44th Annual takes place in Indianapolis, Indiana, at a new starting point from the Fowling Warehouse. This historic, one of the oldest races in the city offers three in-person options: a 5K Run, a 5 Mile Run, and The Bear, which combines both legs for a total of 8.1 miles. Registered by February 1, runners receive a finisher medal and a 'Wear the Bear' winter hat; an optional Nike performance long sleeve can be added during registration.
