Polish Independence Run

The Polish Independence Run is an annual event held in Chicago at Montrose Harbor, celebrating Poland's independence regained on November 11, 1918. Organized since 2018 by WPNA 103.1 FM, the race features USATF-certified, chip-timed 10K and 5K runs, along with a 5K walk. The scenic course runs along Lake Michigan, starting at Montrose Harbor.

Participants of all ages receive a custom finisher’s medal, event T-shirt, and lunch. The event fosters a festive atmosphere honoring Polish heritage and community spirit, welcoming runners and walkers to commemorate this historic occasion through sport.
