The Port Oneida Run, held annually at the Port Oneida Heritage Center in Maple City, Michigan, offers a unique running experience through the scenic Port Oneida Rural Historic District within Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. The event features three distances: a flat and fast 5K on crushed gravel and dirt roads, a 10K loop combining trails, gravel, and paved back roads with rolling hills, and a challenging half marathon with varied terrain including dirt, grass trails, gravel, and pavement, passing Pyramid Point. The run showcases historic 1800s farms and barns amid picturesque landscapes.

It serves as a fundraiser for Preserve Historic Sleeping Bear and includes post-race festivities, awards, and raffle prizes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.

Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
