Portland 5K

Portland (Almost) 5K is a community-focused event in Louisville, Kentucky. It starts from the basketball courts at Lannan Memorial Park and uses an out-and-back route that crosses to Shippingport Island, offering a view of downtown Louisville. The course is described as an “almost 5K,” welcoming participants of all ages in a family-friendly atmosphere rather than a full competitive race.

Proceeds benefit local initiatives through the Portland Museum, making it a fundraiser as well as a casual run/walk. Packet pickup is on race morning. The event helps kickoff the Portland Art & Heritage Fair.
