Pottsville Cross Country and Track Alumni and Friends Run

Pottsville Cross Country and Track Alumni and Friends Run is the inaugural fundraiser for the Pottsville High School cross country program, held at Pottsville High School Stadium Track in Pottsville, PA. Runners use the current Pottsville High cross country course, now a 5K, with the start and finish on the stadium track. The event welcomes alumni, current scholar-athletes, parents, teachers, and friends to race, run, or walk, with timing provided for all.

No entry fee is charged; donations are encouraged to support the program. The atmosphere nods to old dual meets: no bibs, no chips, but a popsicle-stick finish and decade-based team scoring for bragging rights. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
