Powderhorn Mountain Trail

The Powderhorn Mountain Ultra and Vert Challenge, held at Powderhorn Mountain Resort in Mesa, Colorado, offers a thrilling mountain running experience. Participants can choose between a 12-hour or 6-hour ultra on a 10K loop course with 1,546 feet of elevation gain per lap, or a Vertical Challenge focusing on repeated ascents from 8,287 to 9,839 feet. The course features technical trails through aspen and evergreen forests and mountain meadows, with aid stations at the summit and base.
