About the race
The Power Of Pink is an annual community event held in Wheaton, Missouri, featuring a 5K and 1-mile run/walk, including special categories for breast cancer survivors. The 16th edition takes place over two days, with a Friday night dinner and auction at Wheaton High School, followed by races and awards at Wheaton City Park. Participants receive a t-shirt, goody bag, and medals, with chip timing for the 5K.
The event fosters a supportive atmosphere aimed at raising funds to help women battling breast cancer, encouraging individuals, families, and groups to unite and "paint the town pink" for a greater cause. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
