Course support, awards and policies
Aid stations are a mix of manned and unmanned locations, placed at about 5-mile intervals; the distance between manned aid stations will not exceed a little over 9 miles. Manned stations include water, electrolyte drink and snack-type foods, and some offer soup and sandwiches; all manned stations allow drop-bag access. Pacers are allowed for the second half of all events. Finishers who complete their distance within the time limit receive distance-specific belt buckles or medals; first overall male and female in each race receive overall awards. Other notes: complimentary race photos, post-race meals, merchandise pre-order available through February 28, 2026, and a sliding scale credit policy instead of refunds (100% credit 90+ days out; 75% credit 30-89 days; no credit less than 30 days). Lodging options are within 10-15 minutes of the staging location; primitive camping is available across from Celebration Hall. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
