About the race
The Pretzel City 5k is a welcoming running event held in Freeport, Illinois, at scenic Krape Park. Suitable for all skill levels, from novice runners to seasoned competitors, the race features a flat, certified 5k course that winds through picturesque park settings including Yellow Creek, a waterfall, twin caves, and two scenic bridges. The route starts near the mini golf and baseball field area, offering a pleasant and accessible environment for runners and walkers alike.
