Event overview
The Prosper Veterans Day Honor Run takes place on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Frontier Park in Prosper, TX (1551 Frontier Pkwy, 75078). The event includes the following distances:
- 1 mile Fun Run
- 5K
- 10K (two laps of the 5K course)
Proceeds benefit the Veterans Memorial planned for construction at Frontier Park. The event is held on or near Veterans Day each year. It is open to runners and walkers of all ages, including children, parents pushing strollers, and individuals using wheelchairs. A short program honoring veterans will be held before the runs, and there will be a medal ceremony after the races.
Logistics and registration
The race start will be located inside the PISD Stadium parking lot. Race packet pick up is available in advance at the Parks & Recreation Administrative offices at 409 E First Street in Prosper and on the morning of the race. Advance packet pick up times listed are Tuesday, November 6 from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday, November 8 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Participants are asked to clear the start and finish areas promptly after finishing.
Listed entry fees are $25 for the Fun Run and $45 for the 5K and 10K. Registration after October 25 may not include a medal and t-shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
