Overview
The Providence Rhode Races is a road race event on Sunday, May 3, 2026, held in East Providence and Providence, Rhode Island. The event offers the following distances:

Course, logistics and amenities
All race courses start and finish at Bold Point Park, East Providence, and route through India Park, the Linear Park bridge, Blackstone Boulevard, the Henderson Bridge, Waterfront Drive, the East Bay Bike Path and a loop around the RI Country Club in Barrington. Packet pick-up is available on the weekend at Columbus Hall; race day packet pick-up must be reserved in advance. Parking, shuttles and spectator locations are organized around Bold Point Park and nearby parks; roads remain open with minor restrictions during the event.
Aid stations and medical support are provided along the courses; some stations offer Gu gels, Nuun electrolyte drink and bananas, and port-a-potties are available. Course time limits are Marathon 6 hours, Half Marathon 3.5 hours, and 5K 1 hour. Race amenities include gender-specific tech shirts, finisher medals for the marathon and half, free event photos, live tracking via RaceJoy, a post-race festival with food and music, and on-site post-race massages.
