Puppy Creek Fire Department Run for a Cure 5K

The Puppy Creek Fire Department “Run for a Cure” 5K is a community-focused event held in Raeford, North Carolina, at Cape Fear Valley Hoke Hospital. This 5K run/walk encourages participants of all ages to crawl, walk, jog, or run alongside neighbors, family, and friends. The event raises funds to provide free breast exams, wig assistance, and other breast cancer-related support for Hoke County residents lacking resources.

The course starts and finishes at the hospital, with support from Cape Fear Valley Health, Hoke County Sheriff's Office, and EMS. Early registrants receive a t-shirt and medal, and all finishers with bibs earn a medal. Strollers are welcome, but pets, bikes, and scooters are not allowed.
