Pure Water Day Races
The Pure Water Days Races, held annually in August at the Chippewa Falls YMCA in Wisconsin, offer a variety of running and walking events suitable for all ages and abilities. Distances include a 200-meter dash for youth, a one-mile fun run/walk, a two-mile fit walk through scenic Erickson and Irvine Parks, a four-mile race starting and ending at the YMCA through Irvine Park, and a half marathon honoring Bill Roegge, featuring a countryside course with multiple water stations. Participants receive finisher medals and t-shirts.
The event also includes the myTEAM TRIUMPH inclusive runs, where able-bodied "Angels" assist athletes with disabilities ("Captains") in 2- and 4-mile races, promoting community and inclusion. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
