Event overview
The Quack Attack 5K is a charity road race organized by the Athens Ducks Unlimited Chapter. It takes place on November 8, 2025, in Athens, Alabama, with the start and finish adjacent to Big Spring Memorial Park. The event benefits local conservation, protection, and management of Athens and Limestone County wetlands. Logistics, registration and awards
Registration pricing and deadlines are published: Early registration through September 30 ($25), Regular through October 31 ($30), Late through November 7 ($35), and Race Day registration on November 8 ($40). The organizer states that registering by September 25 guarantees a shirt size; shirts are otherwise available while inventory lasts. Packet pickup is available at a sponsor location on the Friday before the race or on race morning at Big Spring Memorial Park. Awards include overall male and female, Masters (40+) and GrandMasters (60+) winners, plus 1st–3rd place medals for males and females in 10-year age groups (0-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+). Parking is available on nearby park and street locations at no cost. Well-socialized leashed dogs and strollers are permitted at the back of the pack; most wheeled devices are not allowed on course.
