About the race
Race for Peace takes place in Kannapolis, NC, at Research Campus Park near the David H. Murdock Research Institute on North Research Campus Drive. The race offers a 5K course open to runners and walkers of all ages and abilities, with an inclusive, family-friendly atmosphere.
The event is scheduled for October 4, 2025, beginning at the Core Lab. Packet pickup is Friday, October 3, at The Bethel Enrichment Center, and on race day at 150 Research Campus Drive. There are no refunds, and organizers may cancel or modify the event for unfavorable conditions.
