Race for the Rescues 5K Run/Walk with Your Dog

SNIPSA’s 18th Annual Race for the Rescues 5K Run/Walk with your Dog is a pet-friendly charity race in San Antonio. The course begins at the Alamo Heights Swimming Pool (250 Viesca St, 78209) and winds through the Alamo Heights area, described as semi-challenging. The event offers several 5K options: a competitive run without dogs, a run with or without dogs, and 5K kids walks/runs with or without dogs, plus a team option.

It’s SNIPSA’s largest fundraiser, with proceeds supporting spay/neuter outreach and veterinary care. Participants can form teams; awards include medals and chip-time awards.
