Race on the Runway

Race on the Runway is a unique running event held at Currituck County Airport, featuring a variety of races including the Tarmac 10k, Flight Deck 5k, and a 1-mile Taxi-Trot fun run. This event aims to support Kids First, Inc., an organization dedicated to helping children who have experienced abuse or neglect. Participants of all skill levels are welcome, and the courses offer a mix of terrains, providing a scenic experience with active airport operations.
