Race on the Runway

Race on the Runway is a unique running event held in Currituck County, North Carolina, featuring three race distances: a scenic 10K called the Tarmac 10k, a 5K named Flight Deck 5k, and a 1-mile fun run called the Taxi-Trot. The courses traverse airport taxiways, hangars, trails, dirt, and paved roads, offering runners a chance to experience wildlife and several ponds along the route. The event welcomes runners and walkers, including those with strollers and dogs, and supports Kids First, Inc., with all proceeds benefiting this local charity.
