About the race
Race to Slow the Pace is an annual trail run at Bokisch Vineyards in Lodi, California. The event offers 5K and 10K distances that wind through a working vineyard, with uneven dirt lanes and light hills, letting runners take in the vines, habitat, and open farmland. Presented in partnership with the John and Jeani Ferrari Family Foundation, the race aims to connect participants with nature and farmland while promoting farmland protection and a slower pace of development.
It’s family-, stroller-, and pet-friendly, and includes a paella brunch and a wine glass for 21+ finishers, plus finisher medals and race swag. Date: September 14, 2025. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
