Rachel's Run
Rachel's Run takes place on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the Academy of Notre Dame in Tyngsboro, MA 01879. The event program includes a community walk and two community 5K events, one specifically for participants aged 12 and under.

Purpose and history
Proceeds from the races and walks initially funded a science lab at the Academy of Notre Dame. Ongoing funds are designated for an annual scholar/athlete award and a science scholarship fund at the school. The event began as an informal run held each year around Thanksgiving on the school cross country course by students and friends. Participants originally brought canned and non-perishable food items to be distributed to a local food pantry; the event continues as a remembrance of that tradition.
