The Ragged 75 Stage Race and 50k takes place July 31 - August 2, 2026 in Danbury, New Hampshire, based at Ragged Mountain Resort. The route mainly follows the SRKG Greenway around Lake Sunapee and uses hiking trails with technical single-track, steep climbs and descents, double track, fire roads, dirt/gravel roads and some pavement.
- 75 miles stage race (approximately 15,500 ft elevation gain)
- 33 miles 50k (approximately 6,300 ft elevation gain)
Stage distances for the 3-day event are approximately 24 miles (Stage 1, ~4,900 ft), 23 miles (Stage 2, ~4,375 ft) and 33 miles (Stage 3, ~6,300 ft).
Logistics and support
Overnight camping is provided at Wadleigh State Park and Sunapee Middle High School; competitors must bring tents or sleeping gear and may sleep on the gym floor. Each stage racer may have one transported duffel bag (90 L) and a small cooler; race staff move gear between overnight locations.
The event is limited support: competitors must be largely self-sufficient and carry required gear. Mandatory items include a cell phone, hydration pack with at least 70 oz capacity, a fully waterproof jacket, course maps, a compass and a medical/blister kit. Stage 3 includes four full aid stations and one water-only station at specified mile points. There is a daily time limit of 12 hours, no outside support during stages, no crews or pacers, and a registration cap of 100 racers for the stage race (50k has no cap).
