The 2025 Raleigh Holiday Half Marathon takes place on Saturday, December 6, 2025, on the Crabtree Creek Greenway within the Capital Area Greenway System. The race will use the classic Crabtree Creek course and will start at Gateway Plaza near 2401 Crabtree Blvd, Raleigh, NC 27604. The event is a half marathon and will return to this course as construction on the Crabtree Creek Trail finishes up this summer. The field is limited to 750 runners. The event uses the official hashtag #RaleighHalf.
Prizes, awards and organizer
All finishers will receive a 2025 Raleigh Half Marathon finisher’s medal. The Top 75 Men and Top 75 Women overall will receive a Raleigh Holiday Half Marathon coffee mug. Age group winners (1st) who are not in the Top 75 overall will also receive the mug. Prize money is awarded to the Top 3 male and female finishers, and a $250 bonus is available for event records. The race is directed and promoted by Sir Walter Running, a Raleigh-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit and USATF club that organizes other local running events and programs.
