Event

The 2026 Ranger Ruck takes place on Saturday, September 12, 2026, in Stevens Point, WI (2050 Fourth Ave, 54481). It is the fifth annual edition of the event. Participants may ruck, run, or walk a 6.1 mile (10K) route. The ruck option requires a 35 pound weighted pack. Registration for the event opens March 1, 2026. The listed entry fee is $25.

Course and features

The route begins at the UWSP Marshfield Clinic Champions Hall and winds through Schmeeckle Reserve before returning to the start area. Prizes are awarded to the top three finishers in the Ruck category and to the top three finishers in the Run/Walk category. A vendor fair follows the event. Each participant receives an event t-shirt and a goody bag at packet pick up. Funds and fundraising for the event are directed to the Cadets to support team building activities and participation in events such as the Army Ten Miler and the Bataan Death March.
