The RCR Gobbler Turkey Trot : Little Rock, AR (Nov 27, 2025)
The RCR Gobbler Turkey Trot is a community event hosted by Rock City Running on Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 27, 2025, at the Market Place Shopping Center, 11121 N. Rodney Parham Rd., Little Rock, AR 72212. The event is offered as a free family fun event with donations of canned goods, non-perishable food, or cash accepted for the Arkansas Foodbank. Last year more than 1,700 people registered; organizers have stated a goal to exceed 2,000 registrants. Event shirts are available for purchase for $25 (adult and youth). Pre-registration provides entry into event drawings.

All routes are on the road and described as stroller-friendly. Courses start and finish at Rock City Running. Limited traffic control will be in place; participants are responsible for their own safety when crossing roads. Organizers state "this is NOT A RACE." Tom’s Tiny Trot for ages 0-8 takes place on a short loop in a closed parking lot with volunteers; each child receives a finishers medal and must be accompanied to the start and away from the finish by a parent or guardian. Water stations will be available after the run. Pets are allowed but must be kept on a short leash. Food donations may be dropped off at Rock City Running up to one week before the event. Items needed include cornbread/stuffing mix, canned meat, cranberry sauce, canned vegetables, mashed potato mix, gravy, canned sweet potatoes, mac and cheese, canned fruit, and canned pumpkin; no homemade or glass items.
