About the race
Ready Set Glow 5k is a glow-in-the-dark nighttime race through downtown Abilene, Texas, with start and finish at The Well (137 Mesquite). The event offers a timed 5K and a Fun Run, with ample glow gear and lighting along an open course lined by glow volunteers. Registrants by Sept.
21 receive a glow kit and event T‑shirt; donations of new socks or underwear for AISD Homeless Ministry earn a light-up baton. After racing, participants gather for a Glow Party in The Well’s green space, featuring food trucks, kids’ activities, and local nonprofit booths. All proceeds benefit We Love Abilene.
