Event
The Red Caboose Wine Run 5k takes place on Sunday, February 22, 2026 in Meridian, Texas at Red Caboose Winery, 1147 CR 1110, Meridian, TX 76665. The event is a chip-timed 5k run/walk and is scored by J3 Timing; results will be posted online at the timing provider's site. A virtual participation option is available and packets can be shipped for a $10 shipping and handling fee.
Race details
Registration includes a super soft ring spun cotton t-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal that doubles as a bottle stopper, a chip-timed race bib, and a pour of wine (minors do not receive a wine glass or wine pour). Packet pickup is race day only and opens one hour before the event. The entry price listed is $25 with a noted price increase date; the event is open to ages 1 through 99.
The race offers age group awards in 10-year categories (1-9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 & Over); top finishers in each category will receive a custom age group award available for pickup the day of the event.
